All about Telecommunication Paper

Telkomsel as biggest GSM operator in Indonesia  launched its latest innovative service named “Mobile Newspaper” on last Friday (9 / 7) in Nusa Dua, Bali. This information service is the latest news sent directly to mobile subscribers services by utilizing Telkomsel MMS (multimedia messaging service). To deliver mobile content in newspaper format, the content is in-push (delivered direct) to mobile cellular subscribers who already subscribe to this service every day. Mobile subscribers then have to download (downloads) the content via the GPRS network to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

Mobile Newspaper is a news service that combines mobile communications and traditional newspaper, has been live since 15 June 2010 ago, newspaper of mobile subscribers has reached 115 thousand people, this time targeting Telkomsel subscribers reached 500 thousand, according to testimony made by General Manager Smith Sarumpaet Mobile Ads Bussiness Management when launching Telkomsel Mobile Newspaper in Ayodya Resort, Nusa Dua  Bali, Friday (9/7/2010).

The headlines of newspaper discussed that Indonesia was recorded as the country with the telecommunications industry with the lowest price and the number of players (operators) the most. Indonesia has 10 operators whereas in other countries like Australia and Philippines just has 4 operators.  Korea, China, and Malaysia just 3 operators, etc.
Before the war tariff, the cost of telecommunications in Indonesia is ranked second after China’s most expensive.
After tariff war, Indonesia becomes a country which has lower prices same with Hongkong. The rank of lower tariff next is India, Thailand, Malaysia and Korea. Yeah all of them coming from Asia countries. This is very phenomenon in this year, we can note this before going to next new year 2010.
