Billions of Short Message Service SMS traffic is predicted to pass across the telecommunications network operator which connects more than 180 million cell phone numbers and fixed wireless access (FWA) during Idul Fitri holidays later in Indonesia. Indonesia currently has 11 operators who hold a wireless mobile cellular phone licenses  such as Telkomsel (Simpati, As, Halo), Indosat (Mentari, IM3, Matrix, StarOne), and XL Axiata (Bebas, Xplor).
and limited mobility wireless phone FWA such as Natrindo Telepon Seluler (Axis), Hutchison CP Telecom (Tri), Mobile-8 Telecom (Fren, Hepi), Smart Telecom (Smart, Smartfren), Bakrie Telecom (Esia), Telkom (Flexi), Sampoerna Telecom Indonesia (Ceria ), and Batam Bintan Telecom (BBT).
