Facebook apologize to Bangladesh - reopen Facebook Access

Today, Sunday, June 6, 2010, the Bangladesh government blocked access to Facebook social media revoked. This revocation occurred after officials of information technology in Bangladesh receives an apology from the owners of Facebook on the page containing the image of the Prophet Muhammad’s contest. In addition to apologizing, Facebook has also withdrawn the page that has caused outrage in Islamic countries.

Bangladesh Telecommunication Commission then decided that access to Facebook is returned again at midnight Saturday. This site can be accessed again on Sunday, said Chairman of the Commission, Ahmed Zia, as reported by the Associated Press
