WordCamp Indonesia 2010 held on January 30, 2010 in Gunadarma University with more great speakers like Beau Lebens ( as Lead web developer from Australia who developed Automattic/Intense Debate), Risman Adnan ( Creator of Indonesia .NET Developer Community (INDC) and Windows Server System Indonesia (WSS-ID ), and other great speakers like Michael Koenig, Made Wiryana, Setyagus Sucipto who has experiences in Content Managment System (CMS) and WordPress e-commerce, and Idris Khanafi who represent of Indonesian MySQL community.
The aim of WordCamp is to meet people discussing about Wordpress development. Who doesn’t know about WordPress at the moment ?
Valent Mustamin as organizer of WordCamp 2010 has topic ‘Developer Spotlight‘ which focus for Wordpress Developer, and for sharing knowledge with WordPress user including PHP development in Windows and WordPress at Windows Azure. For that, Ronald Rajagukguk from Microsoft Indonesia will help explaining it.
Just for refresh, this WordCamp is very important for WordPress development. Jakarta as place of the camp is the highest visitor accessing WordPress whole world in 2009 which followed by Sao Paulo and London.
As you know WordPress can be used by us for blogging or other purpose like making some online trade centre. WordPress has several advantages : Open Source Based which can be developed by people whole world, good Content Management System ( CMS ), Support many plugin and themes which can make your blog becomes powerful. The most plugins used are Pool Daddy, Anti Spam Askimet, Comment Intense Debate, Search engine optimization ( SEO ) plugin, Google XML sitemaps which very useful make your blog good at Search Engine Result Page ( SERP ), so WordPress is very intimate with several Search Engine like Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.

I couldn’t attend WordCamp Indonesia. but lets see what happens at the Forum Nokia Developer Conference which is set to happen on Australian soil on the 2nd of March, 2010. The Developer Day will be held at the Doltone House by the Jones Bay Wharf in Sydney between 8:30am – 5:00pm. The event is jointly organized by the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) and Forum Nokia. Registration is free and the event is is an excellent opportunity for content providers and mobile application developers.
I hope both Wordcamp and Nokia dev. conference will have good result in mobile application, moreover in mobile blogging, such as wordpress mobile blogging at Nokia, more powerful, more easier : )
