When you are feeling bored to your blackberry device and you want to change or buy new one, you will think about the data saved, third party application, application installed and software updated. If you change your blackberry, and you don’t want to reinstall all the application just follow these following steps to switch blackberry device to another one.
You can also import organizer data from a Palm@ device or Windows Mobile@ powered device to a blackberry device.
First just verify that your blackberry device are connected to your computer and you run Blackberry@ Desktop Manager.
After connecting your blackberry device to your computer or Laptop, run your Blackberry Desktop Manager and enter your password blackberry and wait until you success entering your blackberry desktop manager. Make sure your PIN number is detected by the software in lower left corner. Just choose “Device Switch Wizard” to start process like in this picture :

After clicking “Device Switch Wizard”, you will see two options like this :

Just choose “switch blackberry device” if you want to import your connected blackberry to another one. But choose “switch from another device to a blackberry device” to import from Palm or Windows Mobile device.
After choose “switch blackberry device” you will reach this page :

Choose the right option and make sure your current device display is correct. Continue with click next button to start task process to backup process and database like this picture :

Wait that process until you see this page :

To finish the switch your database just plug out your connected blackberry and replace it with your new one.
Click OK after verify the new blackberry connected is correct. Just wait and smile to finish it 
You can do all of those steps before you release your PIN in old bis operator before moving to new one.
For importing from Palm and Windows Mobile just following same steps.
