ZTE Corporation as a provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions gained award “Best CDMA Equipment Manufacturers in the World for 2009″ from research and consulting firm Frost & Sullivan.
The market growth and great innovation makes ZTE became the best in year 2009. Award announcements are made in the Enterprise Communications Summit & Awards in Shanghai, China. This award is intended to assess the performance of CDMA wireless devices in the field of services, research and product development and innovation.
ZTE through their spokesman said that Frost & Sullivan award for finally providing the performance advantage of ZTE to other players in the industry.
Depth research and analysis tool of global CDMA market, including market share, market competition and growing market potential made ZTE given this award.
According to Frost & Sullivan, ZTE has taken over Alcatel-Lucent on the top of the global CDMA market by achieving a 29.3% market share.
Besides positioned at number two in the installation of CDMA, ZTE has achieved remarkable achievements in the global CDMA product innovation.
ZTE has developed a digital system members who have widely applied in more than 40 countries including China, Czech Republic, Romania, Chile, Mexico,Ghana, Norway and Senegal.
Since 2006, ZTE leads global sales of CDMA products. In the first three quarters of the year 2009,sharpen growth in shipping volumes for more than 85,000 units or more than 170% of the total annual shipment in 2008. SDR base-stations are most products sold by ZTE in last year. They claims also in trunking system which reach best quality in development and implementation in CDMA network.
Besides that, ZTE seems to be aggressive vendor in device improvement. ZTE has announced its intention to join the Open Handset Alliance organization which concern in Android Operating System which has been developing by Google. They promises to launch first smartphone based on Android operating system in the first quarter of this year.
I think that is big investment by ZTE which cannot be ignored by the competitor like Huawei, Nokia Siemens, Alcatel, Lucent and also Ericcson network, so they have to prepare for ZTE aggresion and invasion 
The vendors competition will make customers should be enjoy the new product offered and can make good price competition in order to pay attention them. I believe this is just start since the improvement in 3G network and 4G in 2010 will be trend technology in the future.
