In previous article, i explained about blacklist feature that allows destination number blocks incoming voice calls from some number defined. Here I want to introduce another feature that limits our number to do outgoing voice calls to some numbers already defined. The feature called as White List feature from same CDMA mobile operator in Indonesia, that is Bakrie Telecom. With this feature you can only allow your number do outgoing calls to white list number defined.
So how to activate that service?
Registration and Term condition
White list feature is same with Blacklist feature that is you must have minimum balance Rp. 2500 with active priod 30 days since you sucessfully register. This feature is only for prepaid subscriber Esia, Wifone and Wimode. Same with Blacklist, We can register until 9 numbers in white list include GSM / CDMA or Public Switch Telephone Network ( PSTN ) / Fixed Wireless Access ( FWA ).
Get information about White List
You can get information about White List feature by sending SMS to shortcode 666 with content : “WL” ( without quotes ), the tariff is Rp 50 for one SMS + tax.
Another way to get information, you just call Interactive Voice Response ( IVR ) by dialling to *666 ( Free )
Activation White List
To activate the white list feature just send SMS : “WL30″ to 666, and you will be charged Rp 2000 + tax for 30 active period days ( 1 month ). When you enter new month, this feature will be extended until next 30 days if you have enough balance.
Grace Period White List
Same with Blacklist feature, if you dont have enough balance to continue white list feature, your white list feature will be in grace period during 30 days ( but if in grace period you have enough balance, you will be automatically charged Rp 2000 + tax to continue that feature ). But, if until days 31 you still dont have enough balance, your registered feature will be deleted automatically from system.
Register number to White List
After your White List feature active, you will be given 4 digits Personal Identification Number ( PIN ), just save your PIN because you will use it when you register, change, and delete White List number. If you forget your PIN just call *999 at Solusi Esia to reset your PIN.
You can start registering some numbers by using SMS and IVR.
Just send “REGWL<space>number want to register<space>PIN” to 666, the tariff is Rp 500 + tax for every white list number. The format number for FWA / PSTN is national format. For example 021xxxxxxxx and for GSM the number format is 08xxxxxxx
You can also use IVR by dialling to *666 by free, but for every number registered to white list you will be charged Rp 500 + tax
Modify White List number registered
To modify, just send SMS with content: “UBAHWL<space>sequence number<space>new number<space>PIN” to 666.
For using IVR just dial *666 and follow the instruction.
For success modification number, you will be charged Rp 500 + tax
Delete White List number
send “HAPUSBL<space>number you want to delete<space> PIN” to 666, for every SMS sent the tariff is Rp 50 + tax.
If use IVR just follow instruction after dial *666 ( Free ).
You are not charged for every success deletion number.
See status White List , Unregister White List
The another command to see status, white list number and unregister white list are :
Check status by sending SMS : “STATUSWL” to 666
Get number you blacklist by sending SMS :” LISTWL” to 666
Unregister Blacklist feature by sending SMS : “UNREGWL” to 666
The tariff for those commands is Rp 50 + tax
For Esia number, you should in original area to call *666 or send SMS to 666, if you are roaming you cannot dial to *666 for registration.
But if you’ve already activated that feature, you still use the white list feature even you are in roaming area ( you activate Esia GOGO ). You can call white list number to their original number, not in roaming number when your white list number still in roaming area. This is include if you are also in roaming area, you can only reach white list number by calling white list number using their original number.
I hope by activating that white list number, you can abuse of telephone usage by others you don’t know. Thanks a lot for your attention.
