I am interesting when listening to some conversation about wireless and mobile concept. Sometimes they are mixed to wireless mobile. But the question we should ask is there any different between wireless and mobile ?
This question comes from any fact that wireless communication grows rapidly at the moment. The technology offers fast development, reliability and high capacity. The most advantage is the technology can reach mobile subscriber in remote area or small area which cannot be reached by fixed telephone.
I think if we can make clear concept about wireless and mobile, we can discuss further about wireless technology in telecommunication. First make it clear about wireless definition and mobile definition. And then make them into some technology distribution, so we can know them and classified another technology into a chart or scheme.
According to my opinion as far that wireless is a technology which offers us communication that doesn’t need cable. So we just say it wire and less or wireless. In other case, mobile communication is technology which offers us communication in mobile ways. So a mobile communication technology must be an wireless technology, but a wireless technology is not necessary a mobile technology. Further, it is more about the license given to mobile operator to operate the technology mentioned. Please find out the different definition when you learn about cordless technology and cellular technology, you can see about the mobility of them. We can conclude that a cellular technology has high mobility than cordless technology, so you can classify them whether it is wireless and or mobile technology.
So when we classify some technology into a scheme, it is better to classify them from wireless technology concept.
We can divide it into 2 big items, they are fixed and mobile wireless which has different license in practically.
